DMRC Phase-4 Project

  • The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) successfully completed the construction of a 27-meter-deep tunnel near the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Metro Station on the Aerocity-Tughlakabad Corridor under the Phase-4 project.

  • Route: Terminal 1-IGI Airport to Tughlakabad
  • Total Length: 25.82 km

Telangana Scheduled Caste Bill, 2025

  • The Telangana Assembly unanimously passed the 'Telangana Scheduled Caste (Rationalization of Reservation) Bill, 2025' on March 18, 2025, to implement the sub-categorization of Scheduled Castes.

  • Sub-categorization: According to the bill, the 59 Scheduled Castes (SC) in the state are divided into three groups:
  • Group 1: 15 SC communities that are socially, economically, and educationally disadvantaged; will receive 1% reservation.

  • Group 3: 26 significantly benefited SC communities; will receive 5% reservation.

Green Waste Processing Plant

  • India’s first green waste processing plant based on the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model will be set up in Indore.
  • This initiative has been taken under the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban (SBM-U), which aims to convert the city’s green waste into valuable resources.
