IISS Military Balance 2026 Report

‘Dharma Guardian’

  • The 7th edition of the annual joint military exercise ‘Dharma Guardian’ between India and Japan is being held in Chaubatia, Uttarakhand.

  • The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution calling for an immediate, complete, and unconditional ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
  • In the 193-member General Assembly, 107 countries voted in favor of the draft resolution, while 12 voted against.
  • 51 countries, including India, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States, abstained.

Passport Assistance Launches in the West Bank
