  • India voted against a United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) resolution that condemned Iran's crackdown on nationwide protests and sought to extend international investigative mandates.

Vizhinjam International Seaport

First Full Freight Rake of Rice to Anantnag

  • Indian Railways delivered a first full rake of 42 wagons carrying more than two thousand seven hundred metric tonnes of rice to Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir.

350th martyrdom commemoration of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji

  • A two-day historic program titled "Hind Di Chadar" concluded at Modi Maidan in Nanded, Maharashtra, attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
  • The 350th martyrdom anniversary (Shaheedi Shatabdi) of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji was commemorated across India in 2025 and 2026.
  • Known as "Hind di Chadar" (Shield of India), the ninth Sikh Guru was executed on November 24, 1675, by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb for defending the religious freedom of Kashmiri Pandits.
