Sardar@150 National Padyatra

  • To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the "Iron Man of India" the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports through the MY Bharat platform organized the Sardar@150 National Padyatra (Unity March) which commenced from Karamsad, concluded at the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar—the world's tallest statue of Sardar Patel.

Raising cattle rearers’ income by 20%

  • Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah announced the government's plan to boost cattle rearers' income by 20% over the next five years through the implementation of a circular economy model in the dairy sector 2025 while inaugurating a bio-CNG and fertilizer plant in Sanadar, Gujarat.

UNGA Resolution Renewing UNRWA Mandate

  • India voted in favour of a UN General Assembly resolution renewing the mandate of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) for the next three years.
  • The resolution, which falls under the agenda item "Assistance to Palestine refugees," was overwhelmingly adopted with 151 votes in support, 10 countries against (including Israel and the United States), and 14 abstentions

NMDC Signed MoU with IIT Kanpur
