  • The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu visited Ambala, Haryana took a Sortie in Rafale.

PC&PNDT Act, 1994

  • Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda convened the 31st meeting of the Central Supervisory Board (CSB) to strengthen the implementation of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, 1994, and to prevent the misuse of medical technologies for sex selection and sex determination.

India's IIP records growth

  • According to data released by India's Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), the country's Index of Industrial Production (IIP) grew by 4.0% in September 2025, year-on-year.
  • This growth was primarily driven by a strong performance in the manufacturing sector, which expanded by 4.8%.

Nutrient Based Subsidy

  • The Union Cabinet approved the proposal of the Department of Fertilizers for fixing the Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) rates for RABI Season 2025-26 on Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilizers with tentative budget of Rs. 37,952.29 crore.

Terms of Reference of 8th Central Pay Commission

  • The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi approved the Terms of Reference of 8th Central Pay Commission
  • 8th Central Pay Commission will be a temporary body Comprising one Chairperson; One Member (Part Time) and one Member-Secretary which will make its recommendations within 18 months of the date of its constitution.

  • Department of Telecommunications has issued an Office Memorandum (O.M.) notifying the Framework for Transfer of M2M SIM Ownership from one M2M Service Provider (M2M SP)/Licensee to another M2M Service Provider (M2M SP)/Licensee.

HAL Signed MoU with Russian Firm

  • Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has signed an MoU with a Russian public Joint Stock Company United Aircraft Corporation for the production of SJ-100 civil commuter aircraft in India.

National Maritime Heritage Complex Logo

  • Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, today unveiled the logo of the proposed National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) at Lothal in Gujarat on the second day of India Maritime Week 2025 in Mumbai.
