Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2.0

  • The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2.0 is an initiative by the Government of India to actively involve youth aged 15–29 in shaping the vision for a developed India by 2047.

Seed Processing Plant

  • Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated state of the art vegetable and flower seed processing and packaging unit of the National Seeds Corporation (NSC) at Pusa Complex, New Delhi and virtually inaugurated five NSC seed processing plants located at Bareilly, Dharwad, Hassan, Suratgarh and Raichur.

Deep Sea Fishing Vessels

  • Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah inaugurated 'Deep Sea Fishing Vessels' under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana at Mazgaon Dock, Mumbai.

NCERT signed MoU with IIT-Madras

  • National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IIT-Madras in New Delhi to strengthen educational research, development, training and technology integration.

  • Union Minister Manohar Lal has announced a memorial for Baba Banda Singh Bahadur in Lohgarh, Yamunanagar district, Haryana, to honor Sikh heritage.

US and Japan Signed Agreement

  • US President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi signed two major agreements on trade and critical minerals in Tokyo.
  • Under the first deal, a 15 per cent tariff will apply to Japanese exports in exchange for 550 billion dollars in Japanese investment in the United States.

Third Edition of Pravasi Parichay Cultural Festival

  • The Embassy of India in Riyadh is organised the third edition of Pravasi Parichay, a comprehensive cultural festival showcasing India’s diverse heritage at the embassy’s auditorium.
  • This signature initiative, which began in 2023, is designed for the Indian diaspora community in Saudi Arabia.

Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025

  • Ministry of Commerce & Industry has clarified that Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 which is scheduled to in New Delhi will be organised by the Indian Rice Exporters’ Federation (IREF), a private trade body in the rice sector.
  • Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) is only giving support to event in the form of getting on board relevant line Ministries/ departments in the conference so as to ensure a holistic and coordinated action towards expansion and promotion of rice exports.

Electronics Manufacturing Component Scheme

  • Government of India approved first batch of seven projects with investment of over ₹5500 crores under Electronics Manufacturing Component Scheme.
  • Multi-Layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), HDI PCBs, Camera Modules, Copper Clad Laminates, and Polypropylene Films will be Made in India.

MoU on Maritime Cooperation

  • India and Netherlands signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Maritime Cooperation and Green Digital Sea Corridor to Drive Sustainable Port Growth along with a Letter of Intent on the establishment of a Green and Digital Sea Corridor connecting Indian ports with the Port of Rotterdam.

  • Infantry Day, also known as Shaurya Diwas, is celebrated annually on October 27 by the Indian Army.

Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS)

CMS-03 Mission
