ICGS Ajit and ICGS Aparajit Launched

• The Indian Coast Guard launched two advanced fast patrol vessels, ICGS Ajit and ICGS Aparajit, at Goa Shipyard Limited on October 24, 2025.
• These are the seventh and eighth ships in a series of eight indigenous Fast Patrol Vessels (FPVs).
• Names of the other ships: ICGS Akshar, ICGS Achal, ICGS Atal, ICGS Ajinkya, ICGS Amolya. This series is known as the "Adamya-class."

First ASW SWC Delivered to Indian Navy

• The first Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC) “Mahe”, built by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), Kochi, was formally delivered to the Indian Navy on 23 October 2025.
• The vessel is powered by a diesel engine–waterjet propulsion system, providing high speed and superior maneuverability even in shallow waters.
