National News

28th National Conference on e- Governance (NCeG) 2025

  • The Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, are organised the 28th National Conference on e- Governance (NCeG) 2025 in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
  • The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Viksit Bharat: Civil Service and Digital Transformation.’

MoUs signed by Ministry of Rural Development

  • The Ministry of Rural Development signed five Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), Hyderabad, and four National Resource Organizations (NROs) i. e. State Rural Livelihoods Missions (SRLMs) of Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Telangana for strengthening interventions under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).

Executive Capacity Building Programme on human rights

  • The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), is organised a six-day Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Executive Capacity Building Programme on human rights for senior-level functionaries of the National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) of the Global South in New Delhi.

Bharat International Rice Conference 2025

  • Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2025 will be held in New Delhi at Bharat Mandapam on 30th and 31st October.
  • It is the world’s largest rice event with farmers, global buyers and stakeholders.

Khadi Mahotsav 2025

  • As part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) has launched the nationwide celebration of Khadi Mahotsav 2025 to promote the ethos of Swadeshi, self-reliance, and cleanliness.
