Detailed response on voter deletion

• The Supreme Court asked the Election Commission (EC) to give a detailed response to an application seeking the particulars and reason for each of the 65 lakh voters deleted from the Bihar draft electoral roll.
• The draft roll was published on August 1 as part of the special intensive revision (SIR) in the poll-bound State.

• The Parliament has passed the Carriage of Goods by Sea Bill, 2025 which seeks to replace the Indian Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, 1925.

US imposes Additional 25% tariff on Indian goods
