CAG report flags lapses in Railways
- The Comptroller and Auditor-General of India (CAG) flagged lapses worth ₹573 crore in the Railways as detailed in the ‘Union Government (Railways) – Compliance Audit Report’ tabled in Lok Sabha.

PMIS
- According to data provided by the government to the Lok Sabha, more than 50,000 candidates have so far accepted the 1.53 lakh offers made by companies under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS)
- The PMIS was announced in the Budget 2024-25, and aims to provide internships in India’s top 500 companies to one crore youth in five years.
Lading Bill 2025
- Parliament has passed the Bills of Lading Bill 2025 which will replace Indian Bills of Lading Act, 1856 with aim to update and simplify the legal framework for shipping documents.
- A bill of lading refers to a document issued by a freight carrier to a shipper.
