President Murmu at ICMAI Convocation
- President Droupadi Murmu graced the National Students’ Convocation – 2025 of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India in New Delhi.
25th meeting of Central Zonal Council
- Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, Chaired the 25th meeting of the Central Zonal Council in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh which was attended by the Chief Ministers of the member states along with two senior ministers from each state.

MoPR Partners with IIM Ahmedabad
- Training of Trainers (ToT) program on “Generation of Own Source Revenue by Gram Panchayats” was organised by Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi.
- MoPR Partnered with IIM Ahmedabad to Train Panchayats in Generating Own Source Revenue.
NAVYA Initiative
- Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), in convergence with Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), launched the joint pilot initiative for Skilling of Adolescent Girls NAVYA – Nurturing Aspirations through Vocational Training for Young Adolescent Girls in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh.
- NAVYA is a pilot initiative aimed at equipping adolescent girls aged 16–18 years with a minimum qualification of Class 10, with vocational training mainly in non-traditional job roles.

3rd state to achieve Full Functional Literacy
- Tripura was declared third state in the country, after Mizoram and Goa fully literate under the ULLAS – Nav Bharat Saaksharta Karyakram (New India Literacy Programme), a centrally sponsored scheme implemented from 2022 to 2027.

Beej Utsav
- A four-day ‘Beej Utsav (seed festival)’ held in the tribal belt held in Banswara district, Rajasthan highlighted the role of indigenous seeds in agricultural sustainability.
- The festival was organised simultaneously in over 60 panchayats spread across the three States (Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat), with activities including ‘Beej Samvad (seed dialogue)’, biodiversity fairs, ‘seed ball’ making, and plantation drives.

Himalayan Brown Bear
- A rare sighting of a Himalayan brown bear, reportedly with its family, in the Nelong and Jadung Valleys has sparked excitement within Gangotri National Park, Uttarakhand.
- Himalayan Brown Bear is the largest mammal found in the high-altitude regions of the Himalayas.
New blood group system : Gwada negative
- Gwada negative France’s national blood agency, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) has identified a completely new blood group system dubbed as “Gwada negative” which is officially recognised by the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT).

- Rishabh Pant is the first Indian to score a ton in both innings of a Test in England. He became the seventh Indian after Sunil Gavaskar, Vijay Hazare, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane to score two tons in a Test.
K.L. Rahul
- K.L. Rahul became the first Indian opener to score three Test hundreds in England during the series opener in Leeds on Monday. Rahul overtook four other Indian openers — Sunil Gavaskar, Vijay Merchant, Rahul Dravid and Ravi Shastri — who had made two centuries in England.
