- In a press conference during the 10th NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting, NITI Aayog CEO B.V.R. Subrahmanyam stated that India has surpassed Japan to become the world’s fourth-largest economy. He further mentioned that India is expected to overtake Germany and reach the third position within the next 2.5 to 3 years.

Monitor Action on Armed Violence (AOAV) Report
- According to a report by the UK-based organization Monitor Action on Armed Violence (AOAV), Pakistan ranked seventh globally in terms of civilian deaths caused by explosive weapons in the year 2024.
