OPERATION SINDOOR
- According the Ministry of Defence Indian Armed Forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, on May 7 2025, hitting 9 terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.
- The Ministry further added that its actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature and no Pakistani military facilities was targeted.
2nd National Workshop organised
- Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Jagat Prakash Nadda inaugurated two-day second National Workshop organised in New Delhi on Health Sector Disaster Preparedness and Fire Safety in Healthcare Facilities.
- Mr Nadda also launched the Integrated Government Online training (iGOT) modules on ‘Fire Safety in Healthcare Facilities.
Bharat Telecom 2025
- 22nd edition of Bharat Telecom 2025 was organised by Telecom Export Promotion Council in New Delhi.
- The two-day event has brought together potential buyers from around the world to engage in business-to-business meetings with Indian telecom equipment and software manufacturers, as well as ICT service solution providers.

Cashless treatment scheme for road accident victims
- As per the Notification of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Road accident victims all over India will be entitled to cashless treatment for up to ₹1.5 lakh for the first seven days at designated hospitals.
- According to a Gazette notification, the Cashless Treatment of Road Accident Victims Scheme, 2025 has come into force from May 5 and National Health Authority shall be the implementing agency for the programme.
