National News

100-Day Intensive TB Elimination Campaign

  • Under the Government of India's 100-day Intensive TB Elimination Campaign, more than 6.1 lakh TB cases have been identified, out of which treatment has been initiated for 4.3 lakh patients.
  • During this campaign, over 11 crore people have been screened.

5G Services in the Country

  • The Central Government informed the Parliament that as of February 28, 2025, 5G services are available in 773 out of 776 districts across the country, including Lakshadweep.
  • Union Minister of State for Rural Development, Chandrasekhar Pemmasani, stated in a written reply in the Lok Sabha that telecom service providers (TSPs) have installed a total of 4,69,792 5G base transceiver stations (BTS) across the country.

Water Sustainability Conference 2025

  • The primary objective of this conference was to promote water use efficiency and water conservation in industries.

  • In a significant ruling, the Supreme Court clarified that the term 'legal representative' under the Motor Vehicles Act should be interpreted broadly.
  • The objective is to include all individuals dependent on the deceased’s income in compensation claims, rather than restricting it to only close relatives.

Search Engine Launch: Punjab

Visit to Sacred Ganga Talao (Grand Bassin)

Attukal Pongala Festival
