Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat
- Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annpurna Devi launched a national campaign, "Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat", in New Delhi, to make India a child marriage-free nation.
- The Minister also unveiled the Child Marriage-Free Bharat portal.

The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, defines a child as someone under the age of 21 for males and 18 for females. It also prohibits the solemnization of child marriages. |
