- Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) released a Consultation Paper on inputs for formulation of National Broadcasting Policy-2024.
- The policy is likely to expand the ambit of broadcasting from linear television to streaming and online gaming.

Exercise ‘Gagan Shakti’
- Indian Air Force is conducting its biggest exercise ‘Gagan Shakti’ at the Pokhran Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer district.
- Many fighter planes and helicopters including Tejas, Rafale, Sukhoi 30, Jaguar, Globemaster, Chinook, Apache, and Prachanda will participate in the exercise.
