GDP will grow by 8 per cent or more

• Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that India’s gross domestic product (GDP) will grow by 8 per cent or more in the fourth quarter of the current fiscal year.
• Gross Domestic Product is the total monetary value of all goods and services produced within the geographical boundary of a country in a year.

• Italy’s Jannik Sinner won the Men’s Singles title of Miami Open Tennis tournament in the United States.

• Earlier, Indian Tennis star Rohan Bopanna and his Australian partner Matthew Ebden clinched the Men’s doubles title.
• Rohan Bopanna has become the oldest man to win an ATP Masters 1000 title and the second Indian to reach the finals of all nine ATP Masters 1000 events.

Snow Leopards

• Experts pushed for conservation of snow leopards at an interaction organised by the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA).
