Selection of new Chief Minister after assembly elections in five states

Context
- After the assembly elections held in five states in November 2023, new Chief Ministers were appointed there.
Madhya Pradesh
- Mohan Yadav, elected as MLA from South Ujjain, has become the 20th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.
- On December 13, 2023, he was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel.
- Mohan Yadav was the Higher Education Minister in the Shivraj Singh Chauhan government.
- Jagdish Deora and Rajendra Shukla were elected Deputy Chief Ministers.
Rajasthan
- Bhajanlal Sharma has been elected as the 14th Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
- Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office to him as Chief Minister on December 15, 2023.
- Bhajanlal Sharma has been elected MLA for the first time from Sanganer seat of Jaipur.
- Diya Kumari and Dr. Premchand Bairwa have been made Deputy Chief Ministers.
Mizoram
- Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) leader Lalduhoma took oath as CM on December 8, 2023.
- He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati.
- Lalduhoma is the first non-Congress, non-Mizo National Front chief minister since the formation of Mizoram in 1987.
Telangana
- Anumula Revanth Reddy has been elected as the Chief Minister of Telangana.
- On December 7, 2023, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered him the oath of office and secrecy.
- He is the MLA of Kodangal Assembly Constituency.
Chhattisgarh
- Vishnudev Sai has been elected as the fourth Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
- On December 13, 2023, Chhattisgarh Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan administered him the oath of office and secrecy.
- Vishnu Dev Sai is currently the MLA from Kunkuri assembly seat.
- Chhattisgarh Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma have been made Deputy CMs.
