Life term for cheating in exams

• Jharkhand Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan approved the Jharkhand Competitive Examination (Measure for Control and Prevention of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Bill, 2023, which mandates a strict provision of life imprisonment and fine up to ₹10 crore, in case of cheating in competitive examinations.

• The first three of a series of eight anti-submarine warfare shallow water crafts being built by Cochin Shipyard Ltd. for the Navy were launched.
• The ships will be named INS Mahe, INS Malvan and INS Mangrol upon commissioning.
