Vishwakarma Scheme
- On the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, the Central Government will start the 'Vishwakarma Scheme' for skilled work like barbers, goldsmiths, washer men etc.
- This scheme will start with an allocation of around ₹13,000 crore to ₹15,000 crore Rupees.
Gallantry Awards
- The President has approved 76 gallantry awards, including 4 Kirti Chakras and 11 Shaurya Chakras, to personnel of the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces.
- The awards include 54 Sena Medals (Gallantry), three Nao Sena Medal (Gallantry), and four Vayu Sena Medals (Gallantry).

Heron Mark 2 Drone
- The Indian Air Force has inducted four new Heron Mark-2 drones, which have strike capability and can carry out surveillance along the borders with both China and Pakistan in a single sortie.
- The drones have been deployed at a forward air base in the northern sector.
The Heron Mark 2 is an improved version of the Heron Mark-1 drone. |
