Ayushman Bharat-Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana

  • The recent performance audit report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has highlighted irregularities in the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY).
  • Ayushman Bharat Yojana or Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is a health scheme of the Government of India, which was implemented on 23 September 2018 across India.

‘Havana Syndrome.’

  • Recently, the central government has told Karnataka High Court that it will be investigating the mysterious ‘Havana Syndrome.’
  • Havana Syndrome refers to a set of mental health symptoms.
  • Havana Syndrome typically involves symptoms such as hearing certain sounds without any outside noise, nausea, vertigo and headaches, memory loss and balance issues.
