Subject: Declaration of Final Result of Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2022-regarding.

The result of Tier-I of the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2022 was declared by the Commission on 19.05.2023 and the additional result of Tier I was also declared on 02.06.2023. Subsequently, Tier II of the Examination was conducted in Computer Based Mode on 26.06.2023.

2. As per Para 18.7 of the notice of examination, Section III of Tier II is qualifying in nature. As per Para 14.9.7.5.1 of the Notice of the Examination, the Skill Test is mandatory for the post of Data Entry Operator. However, Typing Test for posts other than DEOs is mandatory for all candidates except those who are exempted from appearing in the Typing Test as per Para-14.9.7.6.7.

3. As per Paras 18.8 to 18.11 of the Notice of the Examination, Option cum preference has been taken online from the candidates who appeared in Tier-II of CHSLE 2022 (from 22.07.2023 to 27.07.2023) vide P&P-I Section Important Notice No. HQ-PPI03/23/2022-PP_1dated 21.07.2023. Therefore, 19,308 candidates who have submitted their preference online have been considered for the further selection process

.4. As per Para 18.1 of the Notice of the examination, minimum qualifying marks in Section-I, Section-II & Module-I of Section-III of Tier-II Examination are as follows:

                                                                           i. UR: 30%

                                                                           ii. OBC/ EWS: 25%

                                                                           iii. All other categories: 20%

5. As per Para 18.10 of the notice of the examination, the merit list has been prepared on the basis of aggregate marks scored in Section-I & Section-II of the Tier-II examination subject to qualifying Section-III (both modules). The Commission has fixed Cut-Off marks in the Skill Test as under:-

(i) Category-wise Cut-off on the percentage of error/ mistakes allowed in Typing Test (Module II of Section III) for the post of LDC/JSA/JPA:

6. Resolution of Tie Cases: In the event of a tie in scores of candidates in the Tier-II examination, merit has been decided by applying the following criteria, one after another in the given order, till the tie is resolved:

a) Marks scored in Section-I of Tier-II Examination.

b) Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.

                     c) Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear.

7. As per the provisions of the Notice of Examination, allocation of posts to eligible candidates has been made on the basis of merit-cum-preference of posts submitted by the candidates online. Subject to their qualifying in the document verification to be conducted by the respective User Departments, a total of 3242 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted. Category-wise breakup is as follows:

8. Two debarred candidates bearing Roll Numbers 2201175801, and 4604015019 appeared in the Tier II examination. Hence, their results have not been processed.

9. Post declaration of the final result of the Examination, further process of Document Verification and appointment formalities will be undertaken by the allocated Department to the shortlisted candidates. If a candidate does not receive any correspondence from the concerned allocated User Department within a period of six months from the declaration of the final result, he/she must communicate immediately thereafter with the concerned User Department. Further, the Commission will not, in any circumstances, entertain any correspondences regarding Document Verification/appointment formalities from the shortlisted candidates.

10. No Reserve List/ Waiting List is prepared by the Commission. Unfilled vacancies in the final result and vacancies arising out of non-joining of shortlisted candidates will be carried forward to the next year by the concerned Departments/Organisations.

11. Detailed marks of the shortlisted/ non-shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Commission on 11.08.2023. This facility will be available on the website of the Commission from 11.08.2023 to 10.09.2023. The Final Answer Keys will also be made available on the website from 11.08.2023 to 25.08.2023.
